The tiny home we stayed in was brand new and exceptionally well appointed, featuring a full kitchen and a beautiful bathroom with a large shower. The comfortable king-sized beds provided a restful night, and the management staff was available and supportive throughout our stay. The view of the lake from the property added a serene quality, making the overall experience enjoyable.

Although we had an issue with the internet and TV connection, which may be expected with a newly renovated property.

The black bear theme added charm to the comfortable room, complemented by good location and a nice fridge. The homemade ice cream was a delightful treat. However, outside noise was noticeable due to proximity to main roads, and heating issues arose despite prompt resolution by management. While storage space was good, the simplicity of the exterior did not reflect the appealing interior.

The room was beautifully decorated in a country farmhouse style, very spacious with clean, modern furniture. It was extremely accessible, providing a comfortable environment for seniors like myself to move around easily without any obstacles.

I enjoyed a peaceful night in a cozy budget double room. The serene lake views were stunning, but I wished for on-site dining options. Families should note the noise from playful kids. perhaps visit during less busy times. Overall, a refreshing experience.

The Deluxe Queen Room with Two Queen Beds was comfy and had great amenities like heating, air conditioning, and a flat-screen TV. Plenty of storage space for our stuff and it felt really spacious. Loved the self check-in process, super easy and convenient! The place was incredibly clean, impressive for a renovated motel.

retreat on the lake motel was a clean, nicely rehabbed spot. the tiny house setup offered comfortable beds and a basic kitchen. it’s really close to the lake, perfect for some relaxation. the accommodating staff made the stay better, especially after addressing the reservation mix-up. many guests loved the cozy atmosphere.

Just a fine choice for a brief retreat in Hiawassee with fantastic value for money. The stairs to the 2nd floor were a bit narrow, so just watch your step. If you have any special requests, check in advance to see what they can accommodate.
